Located east of Buffalo and Erie County and slightly west of due south of Rochester Wyoming County is home to the Attica Correctional Facility and Wyoming Correctional Facility. The county seat of Warsaw houses the Wyoming County Court. Silver Lake to the east sits adjacent to the finger lakes region. Major routes within the county include New York State Routes #98, #63, and #19. The county is served by a number of law enforcement agencies including the New York State Police and Wyoming County Sheriff. Many clients of Tom are also charged with DEC violations by members of the New York State Park Police and New York State DEC officers. The county also is home to a portion of Letchworth State Park.
The Wyoming County Court contains a separate Drug Treatment Court track for disposition of criminal charges filed against individuals in the local criminal courts throughout Wyoming County. Integrated Domestic Violence Court is venued in Warsaw in the Supreme/County Court.
